Can you actually eliminate your headaches?
YES ! But you have to fix the real problem. Usually a subluxation.
The answer to that problem is a Chiropractic adjustment.
Dr. Pennington has a long history of phenomenal success with helping nearly everyone get rid of their headaches.
The standard chiropractic treatment approach includes manual therapies that may include spinal manipulation or adjustments, cervical traction, mobilization techniques, trigger point therapy, physical agents or modalities, nutritional counseling and even therapeutic laser therapy.
Frequently, in patients with headaches, the vertebrae in the upper neck lose their normal movement ability and positioning, and the muscles in that region that attach to the base of the skull become overly tight and squeeze or compress the nerves that feed into the head. This condition is called a subluxation, and at this particular area usually results in pain that radiates over the top or around the head, sometimes into the eyes.
Chiropractic care can make it easier for you to move your head and neck forwards, backwards, rotate or twist, and bend to the sides. This, in turn reduces the muscle tension and nerve pinching, which reduces headache pain.
In fact, the most common result is eventual elimination of the headaches completely!
If you have been trying the standard medical approach to headaches you're in for a wonderful surprise. A treatment approach that doesn't have the side effects of horrible chemicals, results that are real, and an approach that will reconnect you with your body for the human experience you were supposed to enjoy.

When You Suffer with Neck Pain
Your neck usually hurts or aches because something is crooked or stuck. Althought that may sound overly simple, it is the most common reason for your complaint, and it is called a subluxation. Only chiropractors correct this problem.
Ok, now that I have said that, let me say that your neck can hurt for many reasons. Those reasons include sleeping on it wrong, old injuries, weak muscles, poor postural habits, new injuries, and dozens of other reasons.
But:
... one thing that can be common to all of those sources of neck problems is simply having 1 or more bones that are crooked or stuck in relationship to the bone next to it. Again, the fancy word for that is subluxation. Abnormal movement or position irritates tissue and that creates discomfort. Irritation to nerve tissue can create numbness, tingling, and pain further from the neck like the arm, hand or fingers.
That is why chiropractic care can usually be successful even when medications, massage, exercises and other approaches haven't solved the problem.

When You Suffer with an Old Whiplash or Neck Injury
Whether it is one specific injury or several minor ones that you can think of, damage may accumulate over years, or have healed with excessive scar tissue. This scar tissue can be more sensitive than the original tissue and may also be more prone to being weak and re-injured. (When you think of scar tissue think of gristle in a steak.)
If yours is an old or an ongoing issue, it may require more intensive care, but with the right steps you can get the results you desire. And similar to the above scenarios, it involves getting chiropractic care for the subluxation.
